BlackOut: A Tribute To The Scorpions

In 2010, The Scorpions, one of the pioneers of hard rock, announced the release of their final studio album (Sting In The Tail) and the subsequent world tour. Formed in Hannover, Germany in 1965, The Scorpions have sold over 100 millions records worldwide, on the strength of over 20 albums and numerous singles.

As a tribute to these pioneers—and to keep their music alive—BlackOut was formed in late 2010 by a group of seasoned musicians (see more about us) who also happen to be long-time Scorpions fans. Based out of Eastern Ontario, Canada, BlackOut was created with a single mandate...
